Collaboration is amazing, it’s one of the things that leads to progress not only music but humanity in general. When people can come together and share talents to create something bigger than both of them, individually, it’s admirable. Virginia natives Mikey Sol and Jay The Homie know this feeling all too well as they formed the buzzing duo, RoeShamBeaux. Showcasing their chemistry to the world, they released their new single, “Baby Boy”.
With the dynamics set in place as Mikey takes production duties and Jay helms the microphone, the duo both know their roles and perform them perfectly. Mikey’s production is inspired, aggressive and high-octane, almost like a night at the monster truck rally. On the other hand, Jay carries a smooth demeanor to his voice and cadence, but never waivers from the, “fuck the club up” theme that this song caries, spewing off adrenaline-fueled bars about fentanyl and other rockstar topics.
With the duo having already generated a bit of a buzz, it should be no surprise to see them start to shine artistically. Check out, “Baby Boy” below and get familiar with RoeShamBeaux.
