Shaun Sloan is a South Central Philadelphia bred artist who has just dropped off passionate new visuals titled, “Wait For Me”. Shaun commonly raps about his trials and tribulations with Sickle Cell disease as he has spent a lot of time in and out of hospitals, as the cover art would also suggest. Shaun Sloan is not too new to the scene either as he has already opened shows for PnB Rock, A Boogie, Gunna, Moneybagg, Lil Baby, and Dababy. Shaun gets in his bag and takes up a heavily melodic cadence as he recites various lyrics that can relate to many people across the country in similar situations.
The music video is captured by Chris Hernandez as he displays Shaun in a hospital with red lights flashing very fast as well as delivering his vocals behind an open ambulance blaring the same flashing lights. The music video is awfully captivating and certainly goes with the track as this song and video will hopefully put Shaun on the map. I suggest checking out the video as Shaun is going to be one of the next stars out of Philly.
