Maurice Hamell, professionally known as ReeseMoe, is a hip-hop recording artist, record producer, and songwriter from Harlem, NY who prides himself on loyalty, family, and the hustle. He is hip-hop’s next mogul. Citing Dame Dash and Master P as some of his favorite figures in hip hop gives you a huge insight into his mindset and ambitions.

He first began making music in 2014 with hip-hop artist Trizzy and quickly found it as a way to express his own ambitions despite having a troubled past. Growing up in Harlem he saw fast money as a way of life and the allure of instant gratification led him to the streets. Being sent to live with his family in Utica, New York was meant to slow him down.

ReeseMoe’s taste for crime finally caught up with him in November 2014, when he was sent to prison at age 21 on a drug & weapons conviction. 


Upon release from prison in 2018, he got his foot in the door with Ruby Recordings as head of A&R. His results earned him a partnership with the label and an opportunity to build his own roster under Boss Figure Records imprint.

ReeseMoe will oversee the label and build a staff to sign and develop artists. The label will also handle its own operations, creative strategy, marketing, and business affairs. ReeseMoe is also planning to open a recording studio for use by the label’s artists.

On September 3, 2021, he released his debut single, ‘The Ruby.’ The hardcore song also features label CEO Trizzy and is the first release under the label since being signed.

As we look forward to 2021, ReeseMoe is set to release new music, visuals, and online content for his fans. ReeseMoe is a studio workhorse, constantly working & perfecting his craft. His dedication to his music is a testament to how he dedicated himself to his listeners.
