Birmingham (UK, not Alabama) rapper Ninioh lands on the ELEVATOR pages for the first time today with his track “Gwop” that immediately impressed me for both its atmosphere and Ninioh’s innate rapping skill. He pulls a variety of flows out of his bag, approaching the thumping instrumental in a variety of ways. Ninioh from this song alone has emerged as one of my favorite artists emerging from Birmingham, a town that is becoming a hotbed of sorts for producing rap talents.
