Ronin Black and Mike Floss have each been ELEVATOR favorites for some time now, and recently the Nashville pair collaborated for the first time with their sinister new tune “Holy,” that exhibits each of their distinct skillsets wonderfully. This ominous, thumping instrumental was produced by Unhappy Hank who continues to have some of the freakiest and hardest hitting beats in the entire region. Ronin delivers a solid vocal performance and he introduced some singy autotuned for the first time, both in the foreground and as ad-libs, and I would love to hear him continue to hone this ability. Mike Floss slid on for an excellent guest appearance and he continues to prove his lyrical prodigiousness and impeccable style with each feature he records.
