Maj Money is on the rise out of Philadelphia and his latest offering is a music video, titled “Closer”, and it is a remarkable visual. Maj Money has been creating and staying consistent for some time now and it is about time he starts garnering the attention he rightfully deserves. Maj hops on a highly rhythmic and prominent instrumental that reminds me of an instrumental that Meek would hop on in 2014 and Maj continues to body the beat with his impactful bars and lyricism overall. Maj has great wordplay and perfect control over his delivery from start to finish and it certainly makes for an infectious end product.

The music video, shot by the well known Marlissa Monay, spotlights Maj primarily on a basketball court at nighttime and walking the streets while continuously flowing to the camera to ensure his verses are felt. Overall this is an impactful offering and I highly urge everyone to tune in when they can.
