Don’t sleep.

One of my favorite things in the world is when an artist explores their creativity. Oh, you normally make murder music? Let’s hear you do some conscious shit. Oh, you normally make soul music? Let’s hear you try some trap melodies. Either way, creative exploration just really excites me. So when Vegas native 88N8 — who’s normally a bit more technical as a rapper — dropped off his new R&B project, Blood Moon, I was sold immediately.

Clocking in at 4-tracks, Blood Moon is different from his normal style, as previously mentioned, but highly enjoyable for a few reasons. The project’s beginning two tracks are the standouts with, “Chanel Drip” and “Marathon”, with the latter consisting of some of the better vocal work that we’ve seen from 88N8.

Press play on the project below and get familiar with the Vegas native’s new style.
