KENI CAN FLY explains that,“mr. wednesday” is a psychedelically influenced song that's heavily predicated on letting go of those pesky, constricting, expectations. "I just wanted to have fun with this and wanted to stop stressing over stuff that didn't even exist. It was written at a time when I realized I needed to start being there for myself no matter what, no matter the day, no matter the situation. I also realized that I wanna get to a point where I'm so overflowing with love, respect and admiration for myself that it only feels natural to share it with someone else. this is all stuff i realized and learned about myself while on shrooms."
