Katori Walker is a buzzing artist with ties to Capitol Records and with efforts like this, it’s easy to see why.

“Run” is his latest release, and by blending elegance with precision, he gives a really dynamic vibe. The subject matter is personal and afflicting, yet, throughout it, he manages to give a positive vibe as well. This is like if an angry Kendrick Lamar and prototypical R&B-pop artist morphed for a song, and it works so, so well.

With all that said, if you haven’t before heard of Walker, definitely give this one a listen, because it may be his best work yet.
