According to his Spotify artist page, Atlanta-based Jelani Imani writes, sings, raps, produces, and engineers music from his bedroom. His new album, “The Shell,” is now out everywhere on Guilford House LLC. It’s a 12-song, 21-minute effort from one of Atlanta’s most animated live performers. The lone feature on the project, DavidTheTragic, makes his appearance on the penultimate song.
