21-year-old bedroom-pop veteran STEPHAN is back for the summer with the new single "NINETALES", an infectious indie groove laden with satirical tropes of the bedroom funk sub-genre. He steps out of his element with new vocal ranges, fresh melodies, and bouncing basslines to make cars rattle. This is a huge contrast from most of his work, such as his latest album WINTER SOLSTICE, which had a much darker, narrower tone. While some of his music could be described as "drugged-out" or eerie, others are fully danceable, and are made to party to. NINETALES has proven to be the latter, and fans couldn't be happier.

Along with the single, STEPHAN has worked with his team of talented creatives (Jared Shafto, Ben Maiden) to put together a full-length music video with "that pink, fuzzy, John Hughes inspiration". His two videographers are responsible for most visuals that he releases, and this video is definitely par for the course with previous releases.

After a break from releases, STEPHAN is back in full swing, with brand new sounds for us to dance to coming out of quarantine. NINETALES is now available for streaming on all platforms.
