ZekeUltra and Elijah Bank$y are both rising lyricists from Delaware and Orange County, New York respectively and their latest offering, titled “GIFT I GIVE (TIL I’M NOT)” is a brilliant display of songwriting. Fitting into the niche of mindful, lyrical rap with Earl Sweatshirt, Mavi, and Medhane, the duo has hopped on a lively low-fi instrumental and killed it. They both exude a calm and wise aura as they slew their lines together to tell a story while incorporating bars and being relatable in order to encapsulate what an ideal lyrical track is in my opinion. I highly recommend checking this one out if you enjoy dissecting bars and lyrics while being mindful.
