It’s with heavy hearts that we inform you of yet another loss to the hip-hop community as rapper Young Greatness was pronounced dead early this morning following a shooting outside of a Waffle House in New Orleans.
Greatness (born Theodore Jones) rose to prominence in 2016 with his breakthrough hit “Moolah” that garnered millions of views and continued summer radio play while reaching the Billboard Hot 100. Greatness was 34 years old, our condolences go out to his family and those affected by this senseless tragedy. We’re told Greatness was in town to attend a funeral and was facetiming his manager when the shooting took place. Gone too soon.
