XXXTentacion was tragically murdered on June 18th, 2018 in Deerfield Beach, Florida after leaving a motorcycle dealership. As a result of his death, Judge Richard Hersch has cleared the late rapper of his battery charges and will not pursue further trial, according to the Miami-Dade County Clerk of Courts.

He was initially charged with a number of domestic related crimes including witness tampering in late 2017. The case is now officially closed.
