Wiley from Atlanta has star potential written all over him. There is something deeply spiritual about his deeply gruff yet sweet voice and his verses paint an accurate picture of young adulthood in this country. While Wiley pays homage to his beloved city in his name, his lyrical content is distant from the trap scene that Atlanta has become so synonymous with.
“Pressure” shows off all of Wiley’s talents in a smooth, three-minute and eighteen-second packaging. I have zero doubts that Wiley could be a tremendous star, and he is already well on his way.
