OskarProphecy has one of the most distinct styles coming out of Indianapolis, and continues to push boundaries in the visual for“New Ego, Who Dis. His smooth attitude but yet aggressive style merges to create a dynamic sound throughout the single from his upcoming project, Retrospect. Heavily influenced by the Anti-Clout rap scene, there are obvious influences from the self-made Hopsin and Eminem, as well as stylistic influences from Tyler, The Creator and the Odd Future/Left Field rap scene.
Directed by Josh Jonez, the music video features the intriguing artist going through normal daily routines but with a twilight zone feel where he repeats each action multiple times in different personalities. Showcasing several versions of himself that range everywhere from calm and timid to hyper and energetic as he performs the introspective record. But make no mistake, Prophecy still brings a raw unadulterated energy to his track that showcases the irrepressible talent that will make him an artist to watch within the coming year.
