Directed by Carlyle Smith.
Kamau is back with a tremendous new visual for his track “GRā.” It’s the latest teaser for his impending project The KAMAU-CASSETTE: ŭRTH GōLD, which is slated to be out sooner than later. Featuring Nkō Khélí, the track itself is another knockout display of skill from the New York-based singer, songwriter and rapper, and comes to life mad well through the lens of director Carlyle Smith.
Kamau had this to say in regards to the record:
“This is the song of the modern Sisyphus. In the video we see, two characters, trapped in a situation where the very nature of their work is cyclical and infinite. One worker digs a hole in sand/time, the other fills it with sand/time.”
Overall, it’s a great song with a great video to match – enjoy his new waves below & stay tuned for more from him soon.
