It’s okay to be alone sometimes and Theo Katzman is the perfect communicator of this message. Also leading Michigan based instrumental group, Vulfpeck, Theo shows us how versatile he truly is when it comes to his productions—embodying a rich and exhilarating sound, filled with animated & joyful energy.

Beginning in 2011, Vulfpeck is a 4-part instrumental group, composed of Theo Katzman on guitar, vocals, & chords, Jack Stratton on the keyboard, drums, and guitar, Woody Goss on the keyboard, & Joe Dart on bass. With this diverse yet cohesive arrangement, Theo releases Lonely Town, a single from the forthcoming album titled, Hill Climber, set to drop on December 7, 2018.

Lonely Town is one of those songs where the artist takes a well-known concept that has a negative connotation surrounding, then transforming it into a positive stream of sensational vibrations through upbeat tones and vocals.  Theo’s vocal strength in alignment with his lyrical expertise on this track carries an exuberance that is quite refreshing and exciting.

“And the silence surrounds, but he’s lost in the sound..” diverts attention away from the loneliness felt, creating a comfort in knowing that music is a being in and of itself, always omnipresent in essence.
