Vintage Lee is ready to blow up this year.

Appearing on the scene last year with her debut single “Right Now,” Boston native Vintage Lee has seen support from Pigeons & Planes, and The FADER. Racking up over 200k plays over her 3 2016 releases, Lee is back with her first offering of 2017 – “Jib & Jab,” produced by Cousin Stizz collaborator Tee-WaTT.

In the past I haven’t been the biggest fan of female rappers, because the content tended to fall into the hyper-sexual lyricism that you’d hear from the likes of Lil’ Kim, Nicki Minaj, etc. However, in the past couple of years we’ve seen an increase in talented female MC’s (Noname, Kamaiyah, Young M.A, etc) and I think Vintage Lee falls into that category.

With infectious production and a flow that will leave your head bumping furiously, Vintage Lee is definitely an artist you need to keep your eyes open for this year. I have no doubt that 2017 is going to be a really great year for her.
