There are few voices as distinctly powerful as Anklegod’s, that I have heard this early in their careers. The foremost is Trippie Redd, as he and Anklegod combine similarly simple rap bars and soulful, cracking and crooning over a heroic instrumental. His crescendoes and vocal fluctuations are highly impressive. As Anklegod’s rap skills grow and he learns to incorporate them in his sound, I am certain that the Vancouver artist is destined for stardom in the near future.
