“Fuck Corona. WE STILL GOT MUSIC,” Tund3 wrote in an Instagram post to announce the drop of his new single and video, “Fight For Me.” The Miami rapper dropped the new song and visual on his birthday, a day/drop he dedicated to himself, his family, and his supporters.

“Fight For Me,” which features fellow Miami artist, DAYO, is a catchy Afrobeats track and Tund3’s way of paying homage to his home country, Nigeria. “I decided to pay homage to where I was raised and where I spent most of my childhood,” he told me. “I [dropped] on my birthday because I wanted to show the real me, the African king Tund3.”

The release couldn’t be more timely, as the song is the perfect pick me up to distract people from the inevitable boredom that comes with being quarantined at home due to the rapidly spreading coronavirus. The song is guaranteed to make you want to get up and dance around your living room, so grab your family/friends and tune in to “Fight For Me” by Tund3 featuring DAYO below.
