After going viral, from platinum-producer Tay Keith’s Instagram post in 2018 and mention from Future’s Dj, Dj Fresh, Memphis artist Tre Davinci caught the eye of Philly’s own Meek Mill. Meek hit Tre’s dm told him “Pull up on me youngin” and a couple of days later they linked up in New York City. The two went to Meek’s studio to listen to Tre’s music which resulted in Meek co-signing Tre on twitter in early 2019. While doing the #AskMeek questions, a fan asked Meek “Do u like Memphis music or Memphis sound?” Meek replied, ” I like Memphis sound a lot I like my youngin Tre Davinci”. Davinci has been killing it ever since, hinting with Tay Keith the two may have a collaboration tape in the works as well as releasing a banger with NLW Choppa titled “Choppa Davinci”, which hit over 1 million streams in a matter of months.
