Admittedly, I’ve become a big fan of Tory Lanez and it’s caught me by surprise. His work ethic, consistency, and effort to keep the industry interesting is much appreciated. He can make any day spicy with a Tweet or comment on Instagram Live, but when it comes to the music he can back up his words.

New single “Freaky” is dedicated to the ladies for sure. Describing the booty and the things he can imagine doing to whoever he’s describing, he’s making her feel good and playing the game simultaneously. Surely he doesn’t miss a chance to talk down on other dudes, but this time around his energy is primarily focused securing shawty. OZ and Nils laced the beat with flutes, making it a sonically pleasing experience much like all of Lanez’ music.

Between all the projects he’s working on (we NEED Chixtape 5) and the international tour with Drake, the 26-year-old out of Brampton has been super busy. We’re happy to have this, along with single ‘Tic Toc” with Rich The Kid. Lanez said he and his cohort have a lot coming this year, so we’ll have to wait and see what’s next.
