Fans of Lil Wayne have waited patiently for years to see the fifth of Wayne’s iconic Tha Carter series. The latest installment C4 was released in 2014 and since then there have been innumerable delays, legal battles and possible leaks of the long-awaited fifth installment. Yesterday, however, saw soms every promising movement for fans of Tunechi as Cash Money tweeted out a picture of what appears to be upcoming project’s cover art. Seen below.

The tweet came from Young Money, which is now entirely owned by Lil Wayne himself. While an official tracklist and date have yet to be revealed, many have speculated that September 21st will be the date the project releases. Rumors of possible features include Kendrick Lamar, Drake and others.
After the litany of setbacks though I’m sure Wayne and fans alike are ready for the release regardless of whos vocals make the final cut. New Weezy is always something to get excited about. We’ll continue to update you as we know more.
