Unfortunately, 2018 has been a year that has claimed the lives of many prominent names in music. Today, however, saw a bit of closure for the tragic death of Alabama rapper Doe B. Doe was just beginning to hit his stride when his life was tragically cut short in his hometown of Montgomery.

In a tragic twist, the rapper’s killer can be seen toting a gun at the 0:11-second mark in the video for Doe B’s breakthrough hit “Let Me Find Out”, seen below.

While that man, Darius Thomas, is currently serving an 85-year sentence, the two other men alleged to have been involved in the rapper’s death had been still standing trial. Those two, Jason McWilliams and Taboris Mock have each been sentenced to 15 years for three counts of first-degree assault.

The tragic attack in 2013 took the lives of Doe B (born Glenn Thomas), Kimberle Johnson and Tinmarious Hamilton, but their respective legacies continue to live on.

Long live Doe B
