The first bar on the song.

If I ain’t got shit, I finesse.

The last bar on the song.

*****, if God slip, I finesse.

I can’t get enough Kenny Mason bars. Every word… man, it’s like they’re enunciated through gritted teeth, that’s just how much emotion there is in the language. I wouldn’t take Kenny Mason for a rapping ventriloquist, but on this song, he’s lending his voice to another kind of entity. The bass on this song is hitting different. This music is grimy, raw, street, energetic, menacing. There’s dogs barking in the outro. That’s branding. There’s a sound that sounds like when you KO your opponent in a Street Fighter video game that serves as an adlib to emphasize a bar. What we have here is an intelligent, worldly, Internet-aware rapper that won’t let that stop him from being good in the hood. All in all, when the song ends and starts again, it’s like the song never ended in the first place. I’m assuming you have the song on repeat. That’s what you call a real audio experience. Where is Kenny Mason‘s album? Actually, just keep the singles coming. Kenny Mason, if you’re reading this, never stop making music, and don’t let people change you. Your spirit is featured on this track.
