A few months back J Cole and his Dreamville team set the hip hop world ablaze with their invite-only recording sessions in Atlanta, Georgia. Now, at long last, it appears that the first single from the sessions has finally emerged. “Down Bad” is a blistering new offering that features a myriad of talent, including Dreamville’s own: J Cole, J.I.D., Bas, and Earthgang on the chaotic instrumental. Additionally, Atlanta native Young Nudy opens the track with a memorable verse that sets the tone for the scorching new single.
