Nashville’s TeamLilStraw has recently exploded onto my radar as his natural talent was evident to me from my first listen. His new visual for his heavily anticipated track “John Wick,” continued to show this raw ability. Straw has the distinct gift of being able to vividly illustrate the danger and cut-throat nature of street life, while still keeping artistic integrity. TeamLilStraw has the potential to be one of the hardest rappers out of the south, but only time will tell.
