17 year-old rapper Tay-K had been on the run from authorities for seven months after being accused of capital murder and was arrested just a few days ago in New Jersey. Directly following his arrest, the Texas-bred emcee dropped off a new music video for “The Race” and all I can say is, I hope he ain’t locked up for long.

The promising rapper kicks off the track with one of the most legendary lines in hip-hop history, “Fuck a beat, I was tryna beat a case.” This song is addictive and the video is even more noteworthy, as Tay sparks up a blunt alongside a WANTED poster with his face on it.
