Sony issued a press release this morning that confirms rumors circulating the upcoming release of PlayStation 5. The next-generation gaming console is scheduled to become officially available for purchase to the public on a Holiday sometime in 2020. No concrete date but we can assume it will be available before Christmas of next year, my best guess would be Black Friday (Nov. 29th, the day after Thanksgiving).
