This EP is fucking sick.
Harlem and Buffalo come together to deliver a historic New York EP titled, Statue of Limitations. Benny The Butcher is quickly emerging as a top lyricist in the rap game while making a name for himself out of Buffalo and collaborating with the Harlem legend Smoke DZA is just so remarkable. The duo absolutely left it all on this six-track project as the various atmospheric, low-fi instrumentals just get dominated with bars messages that could very well go over the heads of a lot of people. Lyrical rap is making a resurgence and necessary one in my opinion as a lot of music is played out nowadays and Benny The Butcher is the artist that is going to make it prevalent once again in New York. This masterful project also features enticing features from Conway the Machine, Styles P, and WestSide Gunn who all make great counter-parts to the pair.
