Sir E.U keeps the tradition of dropping an album every 10/32 (November 1st) alive with his newest studio offering, 23. It’s another eccentrically awesome showing from the DMV rap pillar, who takes on a variety of production from Steve Dreez, Left Fingers, E.U himself and more, all piecing together for a strong project that truly is in it’s own genre. E.U does a great job of breaking outside of the normal sonic boundaries set by hip-hop’s ancestors, though maintains the high level of wordplay and lyricism that stays true to hip-hop’s spirit. All in all, it’s a great project that takes listeners on a wild ride as soon as they press play.
