Detroit native Sam Austins describes his new 6-track EP as “a deep dive into the underbelly of youthful rebellion.” He’s not wrong either, as the journey through the mind of an anxiety-ridden, creatively inhibited 21-year-old has never been so honest & vulnerable.

Austins takes a rather unfamiliar approach throughout the project, experimenting with his voice in ways that were previously absent on more rap-centric cuts like ‘Lowkey.’ By crafting ornate soundscapes and paying close attention to the importance of themes, Sam Austins is able to deliver one of the most unforgettable EP’s of 2017.
