Robot Jones‘ visual flair is unmatched. The Texas rapper brought Yeehaw to the forefront long before Lil Nas X‘s “Old Town Road” in “Vert” and continues to show how his brand of hilarity intersects with his outlandish rap style. In “Big Dog,” the visual for his new single of the same name, the rapper switches things up and lets bright splashes of light do the trick. It’s directed by Jazz Carter who makes the light dance and Jones’ face with it, ping-ponging around with tornado-like energy. It’s genius editing that lets the chaotic song breathe. Jones’ raps fast and furiously and you’ll see how the song and video are connected. It’ll be impossible to put either down.
