For most of 2018, Inglewood, Los Angeles native Rucci has been building a ridiculous regional buzz behind putting out some of the city’s most electrifying music at the moment. One of those records that’s energized the whole scene is his AzChike assisted, “Light It Up,” & after a long wait, the video is here, & it doesn’t disappoint.

Directed by REALMOVIE, “Light It Up” is one of the more basic, yet visually pleasing videos of the year. Set to an ambient scene of simple light patterns and a dormant black backdrop, the video shies away from the popular contemporary style of flashy gimmicks and far-out effects. Instead, it opts for a more authentic feel as Rucci & Chike trade aggressive, thrilling lyrics over the ambitious production.
