After Buzzfeed published a lengthy report on R. Kelly allegedly holding young women captive in his Chicago and Atlanta residences, Joycelyn Savage spoke out against the allegations put forth by her concerned family. Despite her parents’ worries, the 21 year-old claims to be living a completely normal and free life, despite refusing to reveal details regarding her current location.

Joycelyn told TMZ that “I am in a happy place with my life and I am not being brainwashed or anything like that.” She continues, “I just want everybody to know that I am totally fine. Everything is okay with me.”
