The creativity keeps coming from the diverse Texas click that go by PNTHN. The Quentin Tarantino-inspired visuals for “Henny Dreams,” directed by Jeffery Garcia, opens with the producer, Romby, on a liquor fueled series of bad dreams. Romby fades in and around several different scenes of Tarantino films, while the rest of the PNTHN crew make up the cast to the dream sequences. The PNTHN team continues to push out top notch content, both with the music and with the visuals.

PNTHN rip through gory Tarantino scenes while Romby ends up on the wrong end of the scenes time and time again. Scenes from cult classics like Scarface and Pulp Fiction, and my personal favorite scene with Kill Bill, paint the picture of Romby’s alcohol induced nightmares. The half dozen or so quick-fire verses on the track weave together seamlessly through the movie cuts, with each verse delivered in character to the scene. Multiple role changes and outfit changes later, Romby eventually jolts awake after being stabbed at by Dev in his role as The Bride in Kill Bill.

The combination of comedy and quality hit head on with PNTHN’s latest Elevator-premiered visuals, as the San Marcos rap group continue to grow stronger with each continuous drop. Check out the fire visuals for their latest release, “Henny Dreams,” below.
