Last time I wrote about Pivot Gang is when I accidentally discovered them and their debut project, You Can’t Sit With Us. Four months later, and I’m a full on stan. The hip-hop collective dropped two singles in what they call their Two Piece Tour Pack. The first track, “SoHo Freestyle,” features Kota the Friend, and is a hard-hitting cypher with boastful verses from several of the Pivot Gang members. The second song, “Houdini”, features theMIND, and is slower with a beat that resembles what can be heard on their first project. Given the suggestive title of the drop and the “big announcement” they have for fans, it is clear (maybe not) that the guys are touring soon. Of course, I will be there.
