You Can't Stand In The Way Of F.A.T.E

Philly native & HBC (High Basement Collective) signee Tawobi has just released a music video for his single "I Should Be" (the single has generated more than 72k plays on Spotify alone!). The track was produced by Skywlkr from Bruiser Brigade, mixed by SlowWave audio, mastered by Garret Haines at Tree Lady Studios. On "I Should Be," Tawobi gives you a sincere introspective look at what it feels like to be him - for a long time Tawobi didn't like the life he was living, barely recognizing himself or bare to look at himself in the mirror. After taking measures to better his life, a few years later here he is making his best music to date. This track is his way of transmuting those feelings and connecting to his audience on a human level.

"I Should Be" is the defiant last single from his debut full-length project titled F.A.T.E (the.Fish.that.Ate.The.Elephant) scheduled to be released later this year - it will carry production by Tawobi himself, Moses Mosima, IHATEYOUSHEED, AndreOshea and Double Deuce. Tawobi believes we can all reach our highest potential because it all starts with exactly who you are right now. The song sounds like something out of dystopian fantasy or a video game, the visual greets you with gritty effects and scenes even showing Tawobi in the woods being buried, as in burying his old unlikeable self. I really enjoyed how the music video a song match each other's feel. I strongly urge you to connect with this rising up and comer via Instagram & run up those views on the music video below!
