With an unstoppable flow and a preternatural sense of melody and songwriting, 20-year-old OMB Peezy is the new voice of regional rap. Posting up on his porch in cinematic black-and-white, OMB Peezy stunts in Doin’ Bad, his latest video. Produced by Cardo Got Wings, Doin’ Bad is a melodic stomper, combining the G-funk synth of the West Coast with the organic stomp of Southern Rap, which OMB Peezy molds into a compelling narrative about loyalty and the fickleness of fame.

Featuring a verse from YoungBoy Never Broke Again and a cameo appearance from E-40, the video depicts a day in the life in a dangerous neighborhood, filled with motorcycle riding, porch-drinking, and violent assault. With over 850,000 plays on Spotify, “Doin’ Bad,” which earned a nod on Zane Lowe‘s Best Songs of the Week and Spotify‘s coveted Most Necessary playlist is the lead single from OMB Peezy’s acclaimed debut EP Humble Beginnings.
