Zimbabwe-born, New Zealand-raised, and New York-residing artist TAPZ has a dynamic perspective. It’s one he’s channeling on new single “Juice,” and, from it, he’s hoping to start a conversation detailing the commodification of black culture by society in 2019.
Sonically, “Juice” takes from hip-hop and R&B without being exclusive to either, and, utilizing a mellow beat and TAPZ’s own mesmerizing vocal, it leaves a lasting impression, for sure.
As the first track from an upcoming project, there’s more material to look forward to from the artist, but, for now, we’ll be playing—and enjoying—”Juice” below.
