Coldgame Slayter is continually proving himself to be one of the bright spots in the odd place that New York rap sits in right now. I am not surprised at Slayter’s talent or ascension, however, given that he is signed to the legendary purveyor of New York talent Jonny Shipes of Cinematic.

“MHM” is aggressive and confrontational and I love Slayter’s booming vocal delivery, as he punches every syllable of the hook. Both his delivery and content are wonderful and I cannot wait for Slayter’s upcoming project to see the light of day.
