Vancouver’s Manila Grey has released “Backhouse Bounce,” and gives us a contemporary take on traditional house music. The Canadian duo was last featured on ELEVATOR when they released their visual for “TimeZones.” They once again linked up with Azel North, who produced the record and filled it with airy chords, distinguished synths, and pitched vocals that contribute to a moody and ominous vibe that can set the mood for both the last call and drive home.
