One quality I’ve always admired about 2-person production collective, J-E-T-S, is the fact that their sound has never really been defined by one specific genre. Composed of Jimmy Edgar & Travis Stewart (aka Machinedrum), the two have been noted as the “most versatile producers” of our decade, their sound has ranged greatly through the many key elements of hip-hop, techno, R&B, & house music over the course of their discography. Shortly after the release of their breakthrough single “Come Alive” featuring Theophilus London from their forthcoming EP, the eclectic duo dropped a 6-track project titled ZAPS, which is dazzled with seemly fitting features from the likes of Zack Slime Fr, TEARZ & Muzi to name a few. The booming percussion & bass work throughout each track echo into dreamy synths that translate this electrifying energy with each listen.
