Here Englewood goes again. The city churned out another banger, with M. Chex and Dre Breezy laying out some cold hard facts in new single “Irrelevant.” The two present several scenarios pertaining to individuals wearing nice clothes but not having the money to match, sporting fake drip, claiming women who aren’t really for them, or even having ghostwriters. Yikes.

Chex handles the hook, and Breezy sprints laps through verse one. He sounds especially amped up on this record, and the bars surely match. No holds are barred, and M. Chex follows suit when it’s his turn. PapiZay and MarcusOnTheBeat collaborated on the production, laced with 808’s, hi-hats and synths galore. They drop the beat out at opportune points, allowing the two lyricists to really talk their shit with nothing diverting attention.

This is Chex’s latest offering since the single “Wave,” and Dre Breezy’s first feature of the year after releasing album Soul Rock in 2018. It’s unclear what will be coming next for the two, but you know I’ve got a close eye on Jersey so we won’t be in the dark for too long.
