London rapper UKNWN first landed on the ELEVATOR pages with his memorable visual for “Granules” and I am already loving his follow-up track titled “En Route” that was recently premiered by Mixtape Madness. Clearly drawing inspiration from the more melodic American rappers, UKNWN has a sound unlike any of his U.K. counterparts and he easily navigates the guitar-driven instrumental. His vocals have an interesting twist because of his accent, but truthfully this only makes the music more enjoyable as the American style has become so obnoxiously repetitive. Keep an eye on UKNWN as he only continues to develop his own unique sound.
