Lazy J (Jelal Edmonds) is an interesting story. The artist of Lebanese and Samoan descendent has endured crazy obstacles through his career, yet, as all champions do, he keeps going.

Originally gaining notoriety through the Australian version of the X Factor, Lazy J built upon his artistry, but, tragically, after a single release party one night, he was the victim of a stabbing that took place mere inches from his heart. Though he was reportedly minutes away from dying, he went on to make a full recovery, and, as to be expected, he is back doing what he loves.

Today, J released a new single, “Damn Right” and, echoing his newfound energy, it provides a bold sonic statement as he continues his musical career. Listen below, and watch out for more from him.
