Missouri based rapper, Smino, is back with another exuberant track titled “L.M.F.”. With the title being an abbreviation for “Lion Mufasa” & respective references to the ever so popular film “Lion King”, Smino creates a reminiscent & peaceful vibe, also making for a catchiness that causes you to play the song more than once. Seattle based DJ and record producer, Sango, have collaborated before on Smino’s projects, such as song titled “Khlorine”, making us listeners extremely satisfied to see the two back to work in the studio.

Over melodic tunes & kicking drums, Smino’s lyrical range and ability gets vivid in imagery–referring to private & intimate moments with lyrics like, “The coupe going stupid, call it Cupid it’s February/Lil boo got them juices, heal me up with the elderberry”. Smino excites further by reciting “hit her up like mhmm, come through for a lil Cudi“, clearly a Kid Cudi reference, and even a hint at his own self-indulgence in his pleasures.
