Lavez is one of the young rap artists coming from Melbourne, Australia. This young rapper brings a mix of rap styles to the table such as lyricism or depression rap. In his song Tell Me, Lavez raps about his current life and how his music is effecting his life. In this song he mentions that people who listen to his music should tell him what they think of his music and to not just be mindless “Yes Men”, for example in the line, “If I’m gonna make it out there, well you have to tell me, if I make it all feel lit well then you have to tell me”. Lavez also mentions and pays homage to fellow rapper Tay-K.
