Ah, my favorite “lil” rapper is back with new tunes and personally, I am ecstatic. Lil West is a master with autotune. So many imitators of him and other pioneers like Tracy are often copied, but very rarely matched in execution. I first stumbled upon West after hearing his acoustic track last year, and at the time, this was almost earth shattering sonically.

West’s newest Matthw-produced track “Cut Me Off,” is a wonderful listen, and the production is damn near perfection. Matthw’s melancholic and, at times, lavish instrumental is perfect for Lil West to work on. West pours his heart out on this track and his serenading is truly music to my ears.
